I'll help you get started with clearing the clutter of your mind, knowing your thought style, and building your new thought wardrobe. When we're done, you'll be able to start the inner work of being styled beautifully from the inside out.

Clear the clutter


Clearing out the clutter is always a good place to start when making room for new clothes in your closet,  and it is an especially good place to start concerning your thoughts. Clearing clutter is the art of letting go. When you look at your thoughts? Which thoughts do you find harmful, or non beneficial to you? It's probably those limiting thoughts of fear, self thought, jealousy or hatred. It doesn't matter if these thoughts are towards yourself or others. They are limiting you and directly affecting you. Some examples of limiting thoughts include, "I'm just not good enough," "I'm too old", "Good things never happen to me", "She thinks she's so great", and the list can truly go on and on. The good news is it doesn't have to. Get rid of thoughts that don't benefit you.

Call to action: Today sit down and write down all of your limiting thoughts. Any thoughts that are not of love or beneficial to you or those around you, write it down.  To make this easier, just focus on one are of your life at a time and the thoughts surrounding that area.

Know your style

At this point of your life, you are probably well aware of what you look good in and what types of style make you feel good. If you do, then you can use this on your thoughts too. Think about the thoughts that make you feel good. The thoughts that make you smile and empower you. Those are the thoughts that you want to keep around. That is your style of thought. The key to knowing what works for you weather you're trying to find your fashion style or thought style is to pick what makes you feel good.

Call to action: Now that you have a list of limiting thoughts, take each one and rewrite it into a positive thought on a separate sheet of paper. For example: Negative thought - "I'm just not good enough." New Positive thought: "There are many things that I am good at and doing these things helps me find my true purpose." When you are done, burn or shred your list of negative thoughts. Continue to make your positive thoughts even more positive so that you can continue to feel good.

Build your wardrobe

Now that you know your thought style. Work on one are of your life at at time. Build your thought wardrobe just as you'd build your clothing wardrobe. I shop for business clothes, casual clothes, and work out clothes to name a few. The same goes with your thoughts. Build your thought wardrobe based on the areas of your life that you want to work on or areas you'd like to make even more beautiful. 

Call to action: Write down the areas of your life you want to work on. Now list positive thoughts that support and uplift you in those areas. Now choose one or two of those areas to focus on. Once you feel strong in those areas then choose another to focus on.
