Flirting With Fall

Fall is right around the corner. And these cool mornings are definitely a sign of that. I'll be sad to see summer go, but I've already been flirting with Fall. Fashion week is almost here - which means all the latest trends will be hitting runway. This is just a taste of what I have in store for Fall. I want to keep it fun with color, but chic with staples like button ups! This look is easy to put together. All you need is your boyfriend's button up and your favorite pair of summer pants. I love transitioning from summer to fall and I'll share with you some easy but stylish ways to do it too.

Bright Colors and Earth Tones

If you're like me (which I'm guessing you are) you hate to let go of your bright fun summer colors just because the season has changed. Instead of putting all of your summer color away, pair them with earth tones and chambray! This is an easy way to create a fun, but unique look.

Short Lengths and Long Lengths

With the temperature ranging from warm to cool, it can be hard to decide on short sleeves or long sleeves. You may not even know if you want to wear pants, a skirt, or shorts. Instead of choosing one or the other, wear both. Pair a cute skirt with a long sleeve sweater. Sometimes, you can have the best of both worlds.

Layers, Layers, Layers

Fall is all about layers. When it comes to layers it's fun to play around with layering colors and lengths. Plus, if you wear layers, you're covered (no pun intended) no matter what the temperature.

Which of these tips are you planning to try?

  4. Hey Kelley! It's great to stop by from the BLM group! First off, your hair is fierce, and the pics are gorgeous. I'm so bad about layering but definitely going to incorporate more of that. I love the colors you've put together here (and I need that clutch please and thank you), and wouldn't have intially thought to do that. Looking forward to checking out some more style options here :)
